Non-shielding Coating System for pipelines anticorrosion and Resistance of Soil stress. Anticorrosion protection for Line pipe and Girth Welds.
This product consists of Polypropylene geotextile backing and Rubberized Bitumen adhesive coating as anti-corrosive adhesive layer. The base material is a fiber structure to effectively resist creep fracture caused by soil stress, and has anti-corrosive life as long as above fifty years obtained from ageing test. All the test indices of this product exceed the typical values of SY/T0414-98, and meet ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95, so this product is the optimal and economical choice of cold anti-corrosive construction adhesive tapes for pipeline.
(1)T700 is a non-shielding coating. This means that if the coating disbands, cathodic protection currents will not be shielded, and will be able to reach water underneath the coating.
(2)Has excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment, even if surface preparation is below standard, as often happens in field application.
(3)Geotextile backing properties of high strength, low elongation, and high temperature resistance all contribute to resistance of soil stress.
(4)Underground installation and backfill: Can to be backfilled immediately after coating.
